Job Description
Our client, a Job Shop focused on machining metal parts, is seeking an Sr. Quality Technician to join their team. As an Sr. Quality Technician, you will be part of the Operations Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in programming and use of CMM machines, PC DMIS software, quality planning, problem solving, RMA evaluation, reporting, manufacturing process improvements and corrective/preventative actions. Hands-on role. This role will not support candidates with visa requirements and there will be no relocation fees. Candidates local to SE WI will be given top considerations. This is a contract status position.
**Job Title:** Sr. Quality Technician
**Location: Racine, WI**
**Pay:** $38-$45/hr. plus OT, benefits
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Understanding of the entire PPAP process. Submission and coordination of PPAPs. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
+ Knowledge of quality planning (FEMAs, Control Plans, Flowcharts, APQP, etc.)
+ Program a CMM, PC-DMIS.
+ Accurately measure parts using CMM, micrometers, hand gages, or other precision instruments to perform first piece or in process inspections.
+ Apply statistical techniques to troubleshoot and perform technical evaluations such as capability, capacity, and gage R&R studies

**Requirements**
+ Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing quality experience
+ Program CMM, PC-DMIS
+ Basic knowledge in the application of inspection and test equipment
+ Read and interpret blueprints that include Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
+ Effective written and verbal communication to include technical writing with the ability to read/understand/apply written instructions, procedures, and technical standards.
