Description Hiring: Staff Accountant | Construction Industry A growing commercial construction firm is hiring a Staff Accountant to join a collaborative, tight‑knit finance team in Colorado Springs. T This organization operates as a construction company supporting projects across multiple states. With over 20 years in business, they've evolved beyond traditional construction services and continue to invest in innovation, process improvement, and technology. Role Overview We're looking for a hands‑on Staff Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience who enjoys owning transactional accuracy and supporting month‑end close. Basic construction or project accounting knowledge is helpful but not required. Key Responsibilities + Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations + Prepare and post journal entries for month‑end close + Maintain accurate general ledger activity + Assist with A/P, A/R, and daily transactional accounting + Support project accounting teams as needed + Help ensure data accuracy and support internal controls + Collaborate with office and project staff to resolve discrepancies This role is 100% in office.
