**Job Title: Panel Builder**
**Job Description**
Seeking reliable candidates to join a panel shop focused on full cycle assembly and fabrication. The position involves opening enclosures that house spinning machines from packaged crates, working off schematics on large metal plates, and using the bill of materials to gather supplies and add components. This role requires meticulous attention to detail as the standard reference in assembly can vary from day to day and project to project.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and wire panel boxes, harnesses, and junction boxes from scratch.
+ Mount components to machines and ensure proper assembly.
+ Use hand and power tools to secure components, create holes, and cut channels.
+ Tape and measure in millimeters, as preferred for precision.
+ Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Troubleshoot any problems that may occur during assembly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Knowledge of small electrical components.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Experience in wiring and electrical assembly.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with German electrical drawings and schematics is a plus.
+ Knowledge of the metric system.
+ Willingness to learn and be coachable.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and involves a small team. The first shift runs from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime until 5 pm from Monday to Friday. The limited usage of phones while working is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
