Position Summary

Collaborate with internal/external loan partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of closed loan files to investors, government agencies and mortgage insurance companies. Work cross functionally with underwriting, closing, appraisal, accounting and processing teams to facilitate a seamless loan sale and post closing experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review closing packages for accuracy and compliance, particularly for government backed loans (FHA, VA, USDA).
  • Export and submit loan files both hard copy and electronically to investors, agencies and mortgage insurance companies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all loan data submitted to agencies and insurers.
  • Research and respond to post closing inquiries, loan conditions, and notices of rejection from agencies and mortgage insurance providers.
  • Package and ship loan documents according to investor requirements and company timelines.
  • Maintain and update shipping stacking orders to ensure loans are delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the company's compliance and delivery timelines by maintaining detailed records and documentation.

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of mortgage origination/post-closing experience.
  • Strong understanding of loan documentation for FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional loans.
  • Familiarity with agency guidelines, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and mortgage insurance processes.
  • Attention to detail, initiative to resolve outstanding issues and follow through until completion.
  • Ability to maintain a knowledge of lending guidelines, investor programs, industry requirements, and industry changes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with co-workers and supervisors.
