Job Description
**Job Title: Mechanical Plumber** **Job Description** As a Mechanical Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, and Repair of plumbing systems. You will work on reading blueprints, installing pipe systems, and conducting system tests. Your role will involve collaborating with project teams, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing on-the-job training for apprentices. **Responsibilities** + Install water supply, waste, and drainage systems in commercial buildings. + Troubleshoot issues in various plumbing systems. + Conduct pressure and leak tests to ensure system integrity. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes for installations. + Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure projects stay on schedule. + Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards, and potentially conduct safety briefings. + Maintain accurate logs, as-built documents, and track material usage. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial plumbing. + Adherence to safety and building codes. + Communication skills to work with clients and other trades. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 4-7 years of experience in commercial plumbing. + Journeymen license is preferred. + Must have an OSHA 10 certification. **Why Work Here?** These are temp-to-perm projects, offering the opportunity to join the team permanently if performance is satisfactory. **Work Environment** Work involves ground-up construction building. Candidates need to be willing to travel to jobs in Maryland, from Silver Spring to Harford County. Efforts will be made to keep assignments close to where you live, but flexibility in travel is essential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
