Lexington Hotel Group is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic sales professional to lead sales and account relationship efforts at Holiday Inn Express Cape Coral- Fort Myers area.
The Sales Manager drives top-line revenue through proactive prospecting efforts, developing new and existing accounts, and building strategic relationships to achieve and exceed assigned revenue goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and energized by operating in a fast-paced hotel environment where performance and service excellence go hand in hand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive revenue growth across all market segments through strategic prospecting and relationship development.
- Identify and secure new corporate negotiated, local group, and transient accounts
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive market knowledge.
- Collaboratively work with the General Manager and property team to achieve 100% or more of total hotel room budget goals, group room goals & corporate negotiated goals through ADR and occupancy.
- Prospect new and existing business opportunities proactively through weekly appointments, cold calls, referrals, front desk arrivals, networking, internet prospecting, and sales blitzes.
- Develop creative sales initiatives to penetrate new business segments
- Communicate effectively to both internal and external customers.
- Maintain accurate reporting within Salesforce and brand systems
- Ability to learn and use a variety of software systems required for tracking, reserving and reporting including Word, Excel and Salesforce.
- Actively Collaborate on weekly revenue strategy meetings to optimize ADR, occupancy, and total revenue performance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years hotel sales experience
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Salesforce preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Valid Driver's license, acceptable driving record and insured vehicle
- Ability to travel locally to existing and potential clients required
- Other occasional travel as necessary
