DUTIES:

The Custodian is responsible for custodial duties as well as performing light maintenance within their skill level and capabilities. Our custodians perform work for the facility as assigned by the program director which may include: 

• Providing light maintenance.
• Providing/assuring snow/ice removal as needed.
• Recommending work repairs to the program director and coordinate work orders.

As they are in the company of clients of Spurwink during the course of their employment, the Custodian is expected to be a positive role model for the clients and to maintain appropriate attire.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Educational Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D.

Minimum Experience Requirements: Must have referenced ability to perform custodial and light maintenance functions. Must be able to perform custodial activities, which will include, at minimum: being able to go up and down stairs; bending and lifting; carrying objects, materials, and tools.
