Position Summary:


Volpi Foods is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis activities. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights that support strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and ensure the organization meets its financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting or finance, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


•Financial Management: Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, demand planning, and financial analysis. Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

•Strategic Planning: Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making by providing detailed financial analysis and insights. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive leadership.

•Commercial Support: Partner with Sales to evaluate promotional ROI and product/channel mix optimization. Support sales staff by providing ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

•Process Improvement: Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting to increase efficiency and data integrity.

•Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate financial standards.

•Systems Management: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains for financial processes and reporting.
Candidate Qualifications:

•A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. A master's degree and/or FPAC certification is preferred.

•A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in finance and accounting is required. Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.

•Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is highly desirable.
