The Humane Society of Missouri is in search of a seasoned custodian to assist in upholding the cleanliness of our adoption center. As the Senior Custodian, you will play a vital role in furthering our mission by ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both animals and visitors. We are looking for someone who is punctual, respectful, and focused on completing tasks efficiently.

In this role you will:

• Sweeps and mops all public areas, other than kennel areas
• Clean and scrub carpeted areas as needed
• Maintain tile floors through stripping, buffing, and refinishing (Quarterly)
• Maintain the security and maintenance of equipment and tools
• Keep accurate records of work and scheduled services for equipment
• Receive, load, and unload supplies as needed
• Set up tables, chairs, and furniture for events and meetings
• May help with snow removal from sidewalk areas as needed
• Provide assistance with supply procurement
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have at least 5 Years experience in a related field
• Possession of a valid Driver's License is required
• Previous experience cleaning and maintaining floors is a plus
