Job Description

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Air Freshener Marketing is one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Confluent Holdings portfolio, serving 400+ B2B car wash customers with ~25% year-over-year growth. The Account Manager owns the existing customer base - protecting recurring revenue and driving expansion across four product lines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be the primary day-to-day contact for an assigned portfolio of B2B customers, managing customized orders from quote through delivery - including artwork coordination, overseas vendor management, and 90+ day lead times. You'll also pursue cross-sell/upsell opportunities and contribute to pipeline growth through inside sales activity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own a customer portfolio ranging from single-location car washes to 100+ unit chains ($10K–$100K+ annual value).
  • Manage the full order lifecycle: intake, artwork, quoting, order entry, vendor coordination, and post-delivery follow-up.
  • Identify and execute cross-sell/upsell opportunities; develop and track account expansion plans.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM, ERP, and order management systems; resolve issues with urgency.
  • Coordinate with warehouse on fulfillment and freight; partner with leadership on customer feedback and product opportunities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–5 years of B2B account management, inside sales, or customer success experience.
  • Background with customized products and extended lead times (packaging, branded merch, private-label) strongly preferred.
  • Relationship-first mindset - trusted partner, not order processor; overseas vendor experience a plus.
  • Commercially sharp: spots cross-sell opportunities in everyday customer conversations.
  • Operationally resilient, detail-oriented, and quick to learn CRM/ERP tools; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred but not required.
