Reporting: Wahl Vietnam's Production Assistant Manager

Missions:

To manage spare parts warehouse and lead in automation engineering projects in the area of assignment, e.g., mechanical, electrical, electronics, software application while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible;
• Ensure that equipment are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities;
• Assist in new Investments & carry out Installation of fresh equipment components and fittings;
• Supervise maintenance works when new projects are undertaken;
• Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company's equipment; manage the maintenance warehouse of whole factory;
• Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process;
• Help the organization to reduce energy costs;
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services;
• Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented;
• Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Working experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance and/or electrical/mechanical project for at least 02 years;
• Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Electrical or Automation degree;
• Able to understand the mechanical/electrical drawing and able to operate milling machine, lathe, welding and grinding machine;
• Professional using drawing software like CAD 2D/3D or Soildworks;
• PLC knowledge (Experience in PLC: editing, problem solving and modification). Experience in PLC (SIEMENS S7, Profibus, MISHUBISHI, Allen Bradley, OMRON...)
• Ability to comprehend and adhere to health and safety regulations and standards;
• Proactive to anticipate problems and quickly find solutions;
• Ability to analyze situations and provide prompt solutions;
• Ability to generate innovative ideas and techniques;
• Bilingual skills in Vietnamese & English; and Chinese speaking is preferred.
