The Customer Service Attendant is responsible for providing superior customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships while performing check-in duties and assist in providing ground service duties.
Responsibilities:
- Checking in passengers and accepting cargo and freight safely and efficiently, in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Loading and unloading, cleaning, fuelling, and marshalling aircraft as needed.
- Calculating weight & balance of aircraft with oversight by Pilot in Command.
- Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various departments.
- Driving shuttle bus, forklift, tug, and fuel truck as needed.
- Quality control and safe management of fuel delivery, handling and storage, and general airport farm operations.
- Problem solving and making a positive contribution to overall company operations.
Skill Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations.
- Computer skills an asset.
- Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines.
- Effective leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to resolve conflicts positively and productively (customer and co-worker).
- Organizational skills imperative.
- Physically fit, able to safely undertake physically demanding tasks.
- Valid Driver's License an asset.
Shift Requirements:
- Flexibility to work mornings, days, evenings and weekends
- Occasional overtime and on call shifts may be required
- Some travel may be required
