A well-established construction contractor is looking for a hands-on mechanic and shop helper who takes pride in keeping vehicles and equipment running right.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (overtime available)

What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles, light trucks, and jobsite equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Manage and track parts, tools, and shop inventory
- Support warehouse organization and material handling as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard
- Keep accurate service logs and maintenance records
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on automotive or fleet mechanic experience
- Strong ability to diagnose issues-not just swap parts
- Experience with trucks, trailers, or light equipment preferred
- Comfortable balancing mechanical work + shop/warehouse responsibilities
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Able to lift 75-100 lbs and work in a shop/yard environment

- Fleet maintenance experience
- ASE certification or formal training
- DOT compliance knowledge
- Forklift experience or certification
- Inventory or parts management experience
