Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Online Business Manager (OBM) to support a growing company. This role is responsible for translating the Founder's vision into structured plans, managing projects, overseeing cross-functional teams, optimizing systems, and ensuring operational excellence.
This is not an administrative role. This is a leadership and integration role.
The OBM will serve as the right hand to the Founder and will be responsible for driving execution across marketing, sales, delivery, and operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Execution
- Translate company vision into quarterly execution plans
- Create and manage KPIs across departments
- Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operations
- Monitor performance dashboards and report weekly metrics to leadership
Project & Team Management
- Oversee remote team members (marketing, tech, admin, contractors)
- Implement structured project management systems (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, etc.)
- Lead weekly team meetings and accountability check-ins
- Ensure deadlines are met and bottlenecks are resolved
Systems & Process Optimization
- Audit and streamline internal workflows
- Build SOPs and operational documentation
- Optimize CRM, automation, and tech stack usage
- Improve client onboarding and delivery systems
Marketing & Sales Support
- Coordinate launch timelines and marketing campaigns
- Track pipeline performance inside CRM
- Support lead generation initiatives (LinkedIn, email, funnels)
- Ensure sales handoff to operations is smooth and documented
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Track budgets and operational expenses
- Forecast capacity planning
- Monitor profitability metrics
- Support hiring and contractor management
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have Tools Experience:
- CRM systems (HubSpot, Go High Level, Salesforce, or similar)
- Project management software (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, Trello)
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Slack or similar team communication tools
- KPI dashboard tracking (Google Sheets, Databox, Notion, etc.)
- Basic understanding of automations (Zapier, Make)
Preferred:
- Experience supporting B2B companies
- Experience managing remote teams
- Funnel platforms (Kajabi, ClickFunnels, Webflow, etc.)
- Basic financial tracking tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience as an OBM, Operations Manager, or Integrator
- Experience working with service-based businesses
- Proven track record of managing remote teams
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build systems from scratch
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working US hours
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Relevant operations or project management certifications are a plus
