General Description:
Perform activities pertaining to general factory work. This can include but not limited to shipping and receiving products, materials, packaging, parts washing, chip spinning, and machine operating.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to perform all activities of sorting/packaging
- Process shipments by:
- Identifying item on order
- Locating items in inventory or in production
- Packaging items for shipment to prevent damage during transit
- Creating labels to identify specific order information
- Loading palletized orders onto trucks
- Process incoming material by:
- Unloading trucks by use of fork-truck or hoist
- Check product against purchase order
- Placing item into required location
- Use computer to access sales/inventory information
- Maintain order in the shipping and receiving area and the product inventory area
- Spin chips
- Use Chip Spinning Machines to separate metal chips from coolant
- Transfer dry chips in recycle containers and prepare bins to be picked up
- Parts Washing
- Wash and pack per work instructions, enter information into computer
- Other Duties as Required

- Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity-far/near depth perception, field of vision and accommodation.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
