LPN required for seniors' living facility.

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a team-oriented multi-tasker who is flexible, enthusiastic, has great leadership skills, and a positive attitude to help as a Licensed Practical Nurse at one of our facilities.

About the position:

• This is a Permanent Part-Time position.
• The position offers an average of 30 hours per week over a 6-week cycle, but more shifts may be offered based on availability.
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts to cover in this position are: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and/or 10pm to 6am.

Basic responsibilities of the position include:

• Overseeing and providing direction to HCAs following a Care Plan
• Providing direct care and support to residents
• Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident's health
• Respond to emergency calls as required
• Distribute medications to residents
• Assisting residents with daily activities, including therapeutic regimes
• Complete all necessary charting, paperwork, and reporting in a clear, concise, and timely manner using electronic charting

Requirements for the position:

• Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma
• Annual proof of active registration on the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)
• Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
• A flexible, willing, and positive attitude

First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.
