Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Registration Specialist & Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our organization. In this role, you will assist members and customers with applications, renewals, and general inquiries, sometimes handling difficult or upset individuals with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities include:

· Greet and assist members and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
· Process new member applications and renewals efficiently.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership databases, mailing lists, and records.
· Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing helpful and clear information.
· Prepare correspondence and other communications as needed.
· Handle concerns or complaints with patience and excellent customer service.
· Answer questions and provide guidance regarding Scouting operations.
· Support upper-level management staff in various tasks and assignments.
· Writing, reviewing, and editing official administrative correspondence.
· Aiding with a variety of functional areas including program and finance.

Qualifications:

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills-able to work with a diverse range of people.
· Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing records and databases.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
· Prior experience in customer service, front desk, or membership management is a plus.
· Strong typing, writing, and copy-editing skills.
· Highly organized and able to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
· Able to prioritize tasks appropriately, including managing events, meetings, and conference calls.
· Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Hourly wage of $18.00
· Typical hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, & Fridays 8:00am to 2:00pm.
· Some nights and weekends may be required.

· 12 paid holidays plus 24 PTO days per calendar year.
