Torgeson Electric Company is seeking Operators and Laborers for site electrical installation including Site Lighting, Duct Banks, Primary/Secondary conduits, Street Lighting, Sports Lighting, Concrete Work, etc.

Equipment operators/site underground individuals are able to work on site projects installing conduit in trenches and underground. Some traveling required to job sites in northeast Kansas.

Based on experience. $1500 signing bonus.

40 or more per week

- Ability to effectively Communicate
- Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
- PPE required for all duties.

Must be comfortable with operating a mini excavator, skid steer and Digger Derek
Ensure and manage the machines or equipment in a safe and secure way.
Ensure locates are done and up to date prior to performing work
Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
Perform minor repair works during functioning problems
Inform and advise the management or repairmen for major repairs or maintenance
Perform road work, excavation work, lifting work, etc.
Maintain proper coordination and cooperation with the road and transport system while driving/working, so that the normal activities are not disrupted.
Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws.
Fill out daily pre-job safety plan for the work that will be performed
Report to the Site Superintendent
OSHA 10 required (reimbursement available upon completion)
Class A, CDL drivers license preferred but not required (reimbursement available upon completion)
Operator card preferred but not required
