Comfort Keepers is actively hiring New Jersey Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our growing team. We are looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide high‑quality, in‑home care to clients throughout Southern Ocean County, Atlantic County, and Cape May County.
This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience, availability, shift type, and location. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work close to home. Weekday, weekend, evening, and overnight shifts are all available, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your life.

As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and feeding. You will also help with daily living activities, including light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and grocery shopping. Additional responsibilities include providing transportation to appointments and activities, offering medication reminders for self‑administered medications, and maintaining accurate documentation in client logbooks. You will observe and report any changes in a client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to your supervisor and maintain professional, respectful relationships with clients, families, and coworkers.
Applicants must hold a valid New Jersey CHHA certification, have an unrestricted driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, pass a criminal background check, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to assist with lifting (up to 25 pounds), standing, bending, and other caregiving tasks is required.

Applicant must be bondable and meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional, and Personal Reference Checks, and give permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing. Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality. Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
