The Big Task For a HVAC Service Apprentice This apprenticeship is designed to provide the knowledge and technical expertise required to grow into a skilled HVAC professional, with the potential to become a HVAC Service Technician.

Key Sub Tasks For a HVAC Service Apprentice

• Actively participate in and complete the NexTech Academy.
• Engage in structured training sessions at our HVAC Technical Training Center while gaining hands-on experience to sharpen your technical skills.
• Support the Lead Service Technician on service calls, ensuring efficiency and precision in every task.
• Build strong customer relationships to guarantee satisfaction and earn trust.
• Present yourself as a professional, creating opportunities for referrals and repeat business.
• Learn to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues while adhering to our high-quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure service trucks are properly stocked.
• Assist in the accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and job documentation.
• Master and apply the Nexstar Service System in every customer interaction.
• Continuously invest in your training and growth as you develop into a top-tier HVAC professional.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call responsibilities
• Overtime

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime Pay
• On Call Pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Candidates must be able to pass a drug and background test (honesty policy is appreciated) and have an insurable driver's record.
