THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING SPECIALIST - INDUSTRIAL ESTIMATOR

THE SCHEDULE:

This full‑time position runs Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with employees reporting to a central location before going to job sites or service areas.

YOUR ROLE:

As the Construction Estimating Specialist - Industrial Estimator, you'll review project drawings, develop accurate estimates, and perform material takeoffs. You'll coordinate pricing with vendors, consult with engineering and field teams, and prepare clear bid proposals. Your role will include organizing project files, supporting scheduling and procurement, drafting change order estimates, and communicating with clients about project scope and bids, ensuring projects start with precise data and expectations.

• Experience preparing estimates, placing material orders, and handling invoicing in steel fabrication or construction
• Strong knowledge of structural steel and high‑voltage equipment
• Basic understanding of structural and electrical design principles
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software
• Excellent written communication and exceptional attention to detail
