To thrive as a caregiver at Guardian Angel Senior Services, you’ll need a blend of essential skills and a heart full of compassion! A certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is needed, or you can show your commitment by completing our offered free HHA training. You will assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while also taking charge of meal preparation and light housekeeping. Your role will also involve providing medication reminders and emotional support, ensuring that each client feels connected and cared for.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for this position, as is a good command of English (conversational). Plus, reliable transportation and a compassionate, professional demeanor will help you build trusting relationships, making every day as rewarding as it is enjoyable!
