Event Server (Independent Contractor)
Pay: $18–$20/hour
Location: Grand Rapids & West Michigan (On the road)

Culinary Cultivations - Grand Rapids' premier service industry staffing team - is hiring experienced Event Servers to join our Event Staffing Team for the upcoming season.

We provide professional food service staff to a wide variety of clients throughout Grand Rapids and West Michigan, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special events. Our team members are independent contractors who choose when and where they work based on their availability and the shifts we post each week.

Many events take place on Saturdays, with both AM and PM shifts available. Some Saturday availability is a must.

What this role looks like:

• Serving guests at catered and special events, corporate dining, and a variety of other food service settings

• Maintaining a polished, professional presence

• Working efficiently in fast-paced event environments

• Communicating clearly with leads, clients, and teammates

• Representing Culinary Cultivations with excellent hospitality

This role is a great fit if you:

• Have 1+ year of serving experience

• Are dependable, punctual, and professional

• Enjoy event-based work and flexible scheduling

• Want supplemental income based on your availability

Details:

• Job Type: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

• Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

• Schedule: Flexible | Day and Night shifts

• Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Preferred Experience:

• Serving: 1 year

• Food & Beverage Industry: 1 year

• Events & Catering experience (preferred)

Preferred Certifications:

• Alcohol Safety Certification (ServSafe, TIPS, or TAMS) - not required, but a plus
