Position Summary

RBCI is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) with a broad range of supply chain and logistics functions in a warehouse environment. This work is onsite at the Williamsburg, VA office. 5%-10% travel may be required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and practical experience performing end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including synchronizing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods, materials, and inventory from point of origin to final consumption.
  • Execute daily warehouse and logistics operations supporting the receipt, inspection, documentation, storage, issuance, and distribution of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture in accordance with established procedures.
  • Analyze logistics and inventory data to support transportation planning, improve efficiency, maintain accurate records, track inventory levels, and support effective warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate material movement and delivery activities to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of requirements while maintaining accountability and asset visibility throughout the supply chain.
  • Perform operational warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, stowing materiel, picking, packing, and handling specialized medical materiel and equipment using approved material handling methods.
  • Operate material handling and transportation equipment safely and effectively to load, unload, transport, and stage supplies and equipment in compliance with safety, handling, and preservation requirements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management in support of supply chain and logistics mission requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in supply chain operations, including receiving, inventory management, warehousing, and the use of various material handling equipment
  • Must have experience accomplishing end-to-end supply chain, synchronizing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods, materials, and inventory from origin to consumption.
  • Must have experience analyzing data to enhance transportation, negotiate with suppliers, maintain records, and direct warehouse operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Must have the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks including receiving, shipping, stowing materiel, and packing specialized materiel and equipment.
  • A valid driver's license for operating up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and 4-6K forklifts for delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
