About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Executive Director to lead our assisted living community in Meyerland. What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee all community operations, including resident care, culinary services, life enrichment programming, marketing, and facility maintenance
- Ensure full compliance with state regulations, licensing standards, and health inspection readiness at all times
- Build and sustain a high-performing, positive workplace culture - hiring, scheduling, training, and developing staff and department managers
- Drive census growth through community networking, relationship-building, and facility tours
- Manage budgets, review financial transactions, assist with budget development, and implement cost-saving measures
- Oversee complete move-in processes for all new residents and coordinate individualized care planning
- Investigate and report all incidents in accordance with state regulations and company policy
- Lead and participate in the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) rotation
- Monitor landscaping, property maintenance, capital improvements, and kitchen operations
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners to ensure satisfaction and resident well-being
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience (one of the following):
- High school diploma/GED + 4 years of experience in personal care, health, or aging-related settings + 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role; OR
- Associate's degree + 2 years of experience in personal care/health/aging + 1 year in a leadership role; OR
- Bachelor's degree + 1 year of experience in a health or aging-related setting; OR
- State-specific Assisted Living Facility Administrator training/licensure
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel locally and occasionally out of town
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
