Job Description

The Savings Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and performance of the Savings Team, ensuring members receive timely, accurate, and effective prescription cost-savings support. This role provides direct leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to a team focused on identifying and delivering savings opportunities while maintaining high service and quality standards.

Success in this role requires strong people leadership, operational judgment, and the ability to balance productivity, quality, and member experience in a fast-paced PBM environment. The Savings Team Supervisor works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement as DisclosedRx scales its savings programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

  • Supervises and supports a team of Savings Advocate/Coordinators to ensure performance expectations, service standards, and savings outcomes are met.
  • Monitors daily workflows, case volumes, turnaround times, and team productivity to ensure operational targets are achieved.
  • Provides ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management, including regular one-on-ones and development planning.
  • Assists with onboarding and training of new team members, reinforcing policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Reviews cases, documentation, and savings outcomes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Addresses escalated member, pharmacy, or provider issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, response times, and savings impact.
  • Identifies trends, gaps, or operational challenges and collaborates with leadership to implement solutions.
  • Ensures adherence to internal policies, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Client Success, and Technology to support savings initiatives.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives, pilot programs, and workflow enhancements.
  • Supports quality assurance activities, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Any one position may not include all the duties listed; these duties represent the key responsibilities typically associated with this role.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, PBM, pharmacy benefits, or member support services.
  • 1+ year of supervisory, lead, or team management experience (formal or informal).
  • Strong understanding of prescription benefits and medication cost-saving strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members.
  • Experience working with productivity metrics, quality standards, and operational reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential member information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with call center metrics, case management systems, or CRM platforms.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational scaling initiatives.
