Pay: $16.90 / hour plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, including origins, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking inventory and managing supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold The Boat House's reputation for excellence and hospitality.
- Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
- Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a passion for mixology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)

Physical Demands:
- Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
- Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6-8 hour shift with appropriate breaks
- Regular ascending/descending stairs
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
