Job Summary: The Part Time Seasonal VIC Host/Hostess provides accurate and detailed information to visitors, working part time hours approximately mid-May through early September.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides accurate and detailed information about Hot Springs lodging, dining, attractions and current events to visitors.
- Presents a friendly and hospitable welcome to all visitors.
- Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of the VIC (including public restrooms).
- Orders and stocks brochures and supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management, which could include assisting in duties that are not typical to this position.
Minimum Experience, Skills or Education Required:
- Must have extensive knowledge of Hot Springs and its attractions.
- Must have the ability to work independently and to function well under pressure.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work with different kinds of people in a congenial manner
- Must have developed language skills to be able to read and comprehend newspapers and periodicals. Must have math skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
- Position requires professional appearance.
Working Conditions: The VIC Host/Hostess works in a climate controlled indoor environment.
Physical Demands: Duties require standing for long periods at a time, stooping and bending and some lifting (10 to 20 pounds). Occasional carrying of 30 pounds. Repetitive talking for entire shift required.
