General Job Statement:
The Career Development Coordinator for MFIP Gateway provides comprehensive case management and employment coaching to Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) participants. This role ensures that guests receive personalized support to achieve self-sufficiency through employment, training, and education, in strict alignment with MFIP program guidelines and procedures.
Using a strengths-based case management approach, the Career Coordinator builds long-term, empowering relationships with guests, guiding them in developing Individual Career Development Plans (ICDPs) and accessing workforce training, employment opportunities, and supportive services. This position requires detailed documentation, adherence to program compliance, and coordination with internal and external partners. The position is also responsible for ensuring that guests attend work readiness and soft skill development training to enhance guests' understanding of the work culture and strengthen their work readiness skills. This position plays a critical role in supporting MFIP guests in achieving sustainable employment while ensuring compliance with all MFIP program requirements.
