Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Housby is seeking a dependable and motivated part-time Vehicle Porter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles between our various company locations and facilitating vehicle transfers to and from customer facilities.

EXPECTATIONS:

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Safely transport vehicles to and from designated locations as directed.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and organized before and after transport.
• Collaborate with dealership staff to support smooth service operations.
• Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
• Promptly report any vehicle-related issues or concerns to management.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as changing batteries and refueling vehicles as needed before delivery.
• Participate in job-related training and development as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Follow the company's safety rules and policies diligently.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous experience in vehicle transportation or a similar role preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexible availability to accommodate varying hours.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Strong oral communication skills.
• Ability to view a computer monitor.
• Capable of lifting materials over 50 pounds.
• Requires consistent use of both hands.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while driving

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical, vibrations, fumes, airborne particles, toxins, and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
• Works indoors and outdoors.
