We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiologist to provide part-time, fully remote interpretation services for our ENT Portfolio Practices. The role will focus primarily on CT sinus imaging, with additional interpretation of head and neck studies as needed. The Radiologist will work within our EMR and PACS systems to deliver accurate, timely reports that support high-quality patient care and efficient clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies, with a primary focus on CT Sinus scans
- Provide accurate, concise, and clinically actionable radiology reports within established turnaround times
- Collaborate with ENT providers to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Ensure appropriate prioritization of urgent and STAT studies
- Maintain consistent documentation within the practice's EMR and PACS systems
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities as needed
- Communicate critical findings promptly in accordance with practice protocols
Scope of Work
- High-volume outpatient ENT imaging
- Predominantly CT sinus, with potential inclusion of:
- CT temporal bone
- CT neck (soft tissue)
- Limited general diagnostic imaging depending on need
- No interventional procedures required
- Fully remote workflow
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Radiology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (e.g., American Board of Radiology)
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois (or ability to obtain)
- DEA not required unless otherwise specified
Technical Requirements
- Ability to securely access and utilize the practice's EMR and PACS systems
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and appropriate remote workstation setup
- Familiarity with voice recognition/dictation software
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, flexible scheduling (to be defined based on volume and availability)
- Remote (work-from-home)
- Compensation structure:
- Per-study (per read) or
- Hourly rate (depending on candidate preference and volume expectations)
Performance Expectations
- Meet agreed-upon turnaround times (e.g., same-day or <24 hours for routine studies)
- Maintain high diagnostic accuracy and report quality
- Support practice growth by ensuring timely imaging interpretation
- Foster strong working relationships with referring ENT providers
