Under the direct supervision of our Building Manager, you will play a vital role in refreshing our campus and ensuring our classrooms and facilities are clean, safe, and ready to welcome students and teachers back in the fall.
As a Summer Student Worker, you will assist with a variety of hands-on, active projects around the school building, including:
Classroom Preparation: Moving, lifting, and arranging desks, chairs, and tables according to teacher floor plans.
Painting & Detailing: Assisting with minor painting projects, touching up walls, and prepping surfaces (taping, sanding).
Deep Cleaning: Washing whiteboards, clearing out storage areas, cleaning windows, and assisting with general tidying of common areas.
Organization: Helping inventory school supplies, organizing storage closets, and distributing delivered materials to classrooms.
General Maintenance Support: Assisting the Building Manager with other simple, low-risk facility projects as assigned.
Must be a current high school student (minimum age 15).
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from the Building Manager.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably throughout the shift.
Reliable transportation to and from the school campus.
