REPORTS TO: Event Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Trolley Captain is a client-facing role, responsible for driving the Puckett's Trolley to events as well as supporting all concessions, vending, and onsite service operations at large scale events.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of A. Marshall Hospitality: "To make every person we interact with feel like family and to make every guest a fan."
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
• Coordinate and manage the set-up and production of the special event, ensuring the delivery of a high quality event.
• Coordinate with the Special Events Supervisor to ensure that the Trolley is stocked, cleaned, and organized at all times.
• Inventory all food and supplies before and after each event.
• Clean and organize all trolley equipment and supplies.
• Drive Trolley to and from events (event locations range from Middle TN to North AL)
• Assist with the training of new Trolley staff on the operations of the trolley, safety standards, and expectations of exceptional customer service.
• Fill-in for fellow employees when needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the trolley.
• Ensure event space is setup properly and up to safety standards.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must pass the federally mandated E-verify process.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have an Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) serving permit.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and beverage frequently weighing up to 30 pounds.
