Seasonal Maintenance Worker I - Golf Course
Love working outdoors? Enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team that keeps a beautiful golf course in top condition? The City of Lebanon Golf Department is looking for a motivated Seasonal Maintenance Worker I to help maintain our municipal golf course and facilities.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, operating equipment, and learning the fundamentals of golf course turf maintenance.
What You'll Do:
Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using hand-operated and riding equipment
Trimming and edging around bunkers, trees, cart paths, and buildings
Raking and maintaining sand bunkers and repairing bunker edges
Assisting with irrigation tasks such as watering, adjusting sprinkler heads, and reporting system issues
Maintaining flower beds, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas
Operating equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and utility vehicles
Assisting with course setup, including changing hole locations and moving tee markers
Collecting trash, cleaning restrooms, and helping maintain golf facilities
Performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment and assisting with light repairs
What We're Looking For:
Individuals who enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods
Ability to operate or learn to operate turf maintenance equipment safely
A team-oriented attitude with the ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Strong attention to safety and detail
