Environmental Superintendent
Lebanon's water infrastructure is the backbone of our community - and we need a proven leader to run it. As the Environmental Superintendent, you'll oversee the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Collection Systems, and Water Production and Distribution. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the heart of how our city operates.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, water distribution, and collection systems
- Inspect worksites and facilities in the field
- Handle citizen concerns - receive, investigate, and resolve requests and complaints from the community in a timely and professional manner
- Mentor and coach staff at all levels, actively building a succession pipeline and investing in the professional growth of the team
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging regulations, technology, and best practices in municipal wastewater and water systems
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field + 5 years of managerial/environmental experience OR
- Associate's degree in Environmental Science or related field + 3 years of environmental management experience OR
- High school diploma + 8 years of progressive experience in environmental systems operations
- Valid Driver's License
- Available for on-call and emergency call-ins

- Deep knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices
- Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and infrastructure management
- Confident communicator - written, verbal, and in front of a crowd
- Independent thinker who can solve complex technical and administrative problems
