Position Summary:

Maintenance and upkeep of all County Parks and associated building and grounds are done in a safe and efficient manner consistent with the Sweetwater County guidelines.

Essential Functions of Position:

• Maintain grounds and landscaping: mowing, raking, watering grass, pulling weeds, trimming, etc.
• Maintain building and grounds: washing, painting, etc.
• Constructing and repairing fences, benches, tables, playground equipment, etc.
• Digging ditches, repairing plumbing and irrigation equipment.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Desired Education/Training:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs. repeatedly.
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with fellow employees, officials and the public.

Equipment Knowledge:

Must be familiar and have experience with, but not limited to, the following equipment:

• Vehicles: cars, pickups and 1-ton trucks
