Concordia University Chicago (CUC) is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Teacher Education to serve in the College of Education, Division of Teaching and Learning. Faculty within this vibrant division comprises a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to preparing the next generation of teachers. The division seeks a flexible, driven, and committed team member who will contribute to this tradition of excellence in strengthening teacher preparation programs for the future. CUC offers a wide range of education majors, including early childhood, elementary, middle grades, secondary, and PK–12 programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either middle grades or secondary education, with content expertise in science or social science. The successful candidate will teach a range of pedagogy and content-specific courses within their area of expertise in initial licensure programs. Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.
