The PUD is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. This is skilled work involving the operation and maintenance procedures at a 21 MGD direct filtration plant and related facilities.
This position reports directly to the WTP Superintendent, and operators follow regulations and procedures for efficient and thorough water treatment as set forth by the EPA, WA State, and the PUD. Essential duties will include:

Starting Wage: Union scale. The full pay range for Water Treatment Plant Operators 1, 2 and 3 is $38.13 - $52.56. The anticipated hiring hourly pay range is: $38.13-$48.80 depending upon previous experience and level of certification.

Benefits are equivalent to over 60% in additional compensation.
