About Us: At Improv, we transform Human Capital Management and Workforce Management through Strategy, Process, and People. We partner with healthcare organizations to improve workforce performance, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes. Our work extends beyond technology: we design sustainable workforce models that support clinicians, reduce administrative burden, and strengthen care delivery.

We operate with a focus on accountability, innovation, and measurable outcomes. Our teams solve complex challenges that directly impact healthcare systems and the patients they serve.

We are seeking a Healthcare Delivery Director to lead strategic engagements and large-scale WFM and HCM transformation programs across healthcare organizations. This role owns end-to-end delivery accountability, including execution, financial performance, stakeholder alignment, the identification and delivery of additional value-added services, and overall client outcomes and satisfaction.

The Delivery Director operates at both a strategic and an execution level. This individual ensures programs deliver measurable value, align with clinical and operational priorities, and meet defined timelines and budgets.

What You Will Do:

Program Leadership and Delivery

  • Lead delivery of large enterprise WFM and HCM implementations, primarily UKG
  • Oversee strategy, discovery, design, configuration, data migration, testing, enablement, deployment and all other engagement activities
  • Ensure engagements meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs with varying complexity across healthcare platforms
  • Establish delivery governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, including clinical, operational, and IT leadership
  • Manage relationships with UKG, third-party vendors, and client teams
  • Align project outcomes with organizational goals, including workforce optimization and patient care impact
  • Provide regular executive-level updates on program status, risks, and outcomes

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and manage cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, consultants, and integration resources
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance oversight to delivery team members
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate daily and weekly team cadences to track progress and resolve blockers

Operational Execution

  • Partner with project managers and strategists to develop and execute detailed project and execution plans
  • Monitor program metrics, financial performance, and resource utilization
  • Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive issue resolution across technical, operational, and stakeholder domains

Process Improvement and Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery methodologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Drive innovation with methodologies, tools, and AI
  • Standardize best practices for UKG implementations in healthcare environments
  • Enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency across delivery programs
  • Contribute to thought leadership in workforce transformation and healthcare operations

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise HCM or WFM transformation programs
  • Proven experience delivering UKG Pro WFM and Pro implementations in the healthcare space
  • Strong knowledge of workforce management processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing budgets, resource plans, and delivery financials
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in executive-facing environments
  • Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UKG Pro WFM certification
  • Experience in healthcare systems, including hospital or multi-facility environments
  • Familiarity with union environments, labor agreements, and compliance structures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with large-scale transformation initiatives

Core Competencies:

  • Executive presence and strategic thinking
  • Program governance and delivery excellence
  • Cross-functional leadership and collaboration
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Client relationship management
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Impact of the Role:

This role directly influences how healthcare organizations manage their workforce. Effective delivery leads to measurable improvements in staffing efficiency, clinician satisfaction, and patient care outcomes. The Delivery Director plays a critical role in ensuring technology investments translate into operational and clinical value.
