Crossroads Operations Manager Position

Position: Crossroads Operations Manager
Status: Full Time
Hours: 12:00 pm to 8:00pm (hours may vary)
Salary Range: $28.29 to $40.26
Reports to: Assistant Director of Operations
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of the operations of the facility including but not limited to week day rentals, housekeeping, special events, event management, front desk administration and reporting. The Operations Manager will also work closely with other departments in hiring, training, and staff scheduling. This position will work weekdays 12pm – 8pm and is responsible for weekend closing hours for events.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, make decisions based on financial considerations, project impact of proposed actions, implement recommendation and write reports and present information. Exemplify traits that reflect the Village's culture with a focus on customer service. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
Sports operational management experience or administrative experience. Knowledge
about the various aspects of sport events. A bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management or related field and three plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
CPR/First Aid certifications required within three months of employment.
Duties are generally performed in both outdoor and indoor settings. This is medium to heavy work requiring the exertion of fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, up to twenty (20) pounds of force frequently, and up to ten (10) pounds of force constantly to move, lift and push objects. Work requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing and pulling. This position is subject to outside environmental conditions, including extreme cold, extreme heat, hazards, and atmospheric conditions.
