Cooke County EMS is accepting applications for the position of part-time Paramedic. Cooke County EMS is the sole provider of 911 services in Cooke County and responds to approximately 5000 requests for service each year. Cooke County EMS operates 5 stations throughout the county to service a population of 40,000 that live in the 874 square miles of Cooke County. Each station has one staffed MICU; in addition a rescue truck staffed by the shift captain is at station 1. We are a shift based department working 48 hours on and 96 hours off.
