The Point Casino and Hotel is looking for a Gift Shop Attendant to join its growing team!

How You'll Make an Impact: Executes sales transactions (totals bill, accepts payment, and makes change) on the computerized POS system; obtains or receives merchandise into inventory, provides a consistently high level of guest service to all casino patrons and guests in the gift shop.

Brief description of duties:

• Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
• Responsible for assembly, disassembly and storage of gift shop displays and merchandise.
• Sells merchandise.
• Answers guest's questions regarding Gift Shop merchandise, Players Club programs and/or the casino in general.
• Obtains all casino, promotions and gift shop information for guest inquiries.
• Assists marketing in promoting promotions to guests and employees.
• Responsible for promoting positive image to guests.

Brief description of qualification:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous cash handling, retail experience, basic computer skills and guest service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain Gaming License.
