To organize, implement and direct a community aquatics program, including the operation of facilities, supervision of staff, and management of programs. Under general supervision directs and coordinates aquatic programming including instruction in water exercise, water therapy and in-service. Performs as a supervisor for Lifeguards, Cashiers and Swim Instructors including all swim lesson programs.

This position is distinguished as having administrative responsibility for the Aquatics Program within the City's Recreation Department including supervision of staff and programs, maintenance of facilities, and development of special events.
