About the Dietary Manager Position:

The full-time Dietary Manager is to supervise the day to day functions of Healthcare & Assisted Living dining rooms and food-related activities; coordinate the day to day production schedules of all diet aids, schedules diet aids within budget; maintains neat and orderly dining rooms & food pantries; responsible for completing accurate diet card information; maintaining food & service logs for each pantry; Maintains a nutritional problem log; Monitors weights for skilled residents; attends resident care conferences; completes initial food likes and dislikes on residents; completes daily production sheets for menus,- works closely with dietitian in all aspects of clinical service including specific resident record and Minimum Data Set documentation, utilizes training program for all new personnel utilizes an on-going training program for existing personnel; coordinates with the Activities coordinator all functions which require food service personnel; works closely with the cooks to ensure that resident needs are met on skilled and personal care, monitors staff morale and service continues to maintain at a high standard; maintains strong communication lines with nursing to ensure teamwork. Most importantly, handles customer complaints & criticisms in a positive, solution-oriented manner.
