Clean Team Inc., a leading commercial cleaning company, is seeking a full-time Area Manager in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities management.

The Area Manager oversees multiple client sites, manages cleaning staff, ensures quality standards, and maintains strong customer relationships.

Territory
Grand Rapids, Zeeland, Grand Haven, and Muskegon, MI

Schedule

• Full-time, salaried
• Monday–Friday: 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM (evening shift)
• Weekend on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise janitorial staff across multiple locations
• Ensure completion of commercial cleaning services to company standards
• Conduct site inspections and quality control audits
• Train and coach employees on safety, procedures, and productivity
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor hours
• Address employee relations, including coaching and discipline
• Serve as primary contact for client accounts
• Monitor performance metrics, turnover, and service quality
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Travel between accounts throughout West Michigan

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience (cleaning, facilities, or service industry preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple sites in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
