We're hiring 4 Part-Time Parks Laborers to perform a variety of hands-on duties including park maintenance, custodial cleaning, landscaping, and event support. This is a physically active, outdoor position where your work directly impacts the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our parks.
Compensation
$21.29 per hour – up to 24 hours per week. Weekend Work Required
Effective July 1, 2026: Hourly rate increase to $22.09 per hour.
Employee's will be assigned one of the following shifts (work hours may vary slightly):
Shift 1: Wed – Sat from 6:00am – 12:30pm
Shift 2: Wed – Sat from 4:00pm – 10:30pm
Shift 3: Sun – Wed from 6:00am – 12:30pm
Shift 4: Sun – Wed from 4:00pm – 10:30pm

What You'll Do
As a Parks Laborer, you will help maintain City parks, facilities, and open spaces through a combination of custodial, grounds, and general maintenance work. Duties include:
Important: During peak summer months, parks are heavily used and a significant portion of this role involves custodial work, including frequent restroom cleaning and trash removal.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and working independently while contributing to the community.
