Salary: Entry level pay $15.30 per hour

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

(Subject to Dept. Head's discretion - hours may vary)

Role and Responsibilities:

A Facilities Maintenance is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving city-owned buildings and public facilities to ensure safe, functional, and efficient operations for employees and the public. This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks involving plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, landscaping, general building repairs & assisting with custodial work.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
• Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have repair skills.
• Be able to have a flexible work schedule.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Knowledge of general electricity principles is a plus.
• ACI HVAC experience is a plus.
• Possess, or ability to obtain, applicator's pesticide & herbicide control licensing.
