Middle School Head 7th Grade Volleyball Coach:

Bueker Middle School is looking for a dedicated, motivated, and student-centered Middle School Head 7th Grade Volleyball Coach to lead and grow our middle school program. The Head Coach is responsible for developing a competitive program that emphasizes character, academic achievement, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating a positive and inclusive experience for all student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the school program
• Develop practice plans and game strategies aligned with program goals
• Teach and reinforce fundamental skills, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and academic success
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches if applicable
• Ensure compliance with school district, state athletic association, and league rules
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administrators, and staff
• Promote player safety, including proper conditioning and injury prevention
• Support off-season training, player development, and program growth
• Represent the school positively within the community

Preferred Attributes

• Teaching certification or ability to teach within the district (if applicable)
• Experience building or sustaining a competitive program
• Positive role model who emphasizes character and integrity
