Jellico High School is seeking a licensed Social Studies teacher. This position is responsible for providing engaging, standards-based instruction while fostering a positive learning environment that supports student achievement and growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate Social Studies endorsement
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Tennessee Academic Standards
• Maintain an organized and effective classroom environment
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
• Utilize technology and instructional strategies to enhance student learning
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support school goals
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements
• Participate in school-related activities and professional development opportunities

Terms of Employment

• Full-time, 10-month position
