Fulltime position, Monday through Friday

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Foreman Duties and Responsibilities:

2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and subcontractors on multi-family commercial projects.
3. Plan and schedule project timelines, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
4. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in multi-family buildings.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
6. Conduct regular inspections to assess work progress and quality.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems and installations.
8. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project objectives are met.
9. Order and manage inventory of necessary materials and equipment.
10. Train and mentor junior HVAC team members to enhance skill levels and maintain high-quality standards.
11. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
12. Prepare and submit reports on project status, labor, and material usage.
13. Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.

4. Supervise a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
5. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure all HVAC installations meet industry standards and regulations.
6. Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide expert solutions to ensure optimal system functionality.
7. Manage HVAC project budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices and procurement of materials.
8. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to design HVAC systems that meet building specifications and codes.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during HVAC operations.

3. Conduct assessments of existing HVAC systems and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
4. Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
5. Test installed systems for proper functioning and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
6. Provide training and guidance to junior installers and apprentices.
7. Maintain accurate records of installations and service work performed.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
9. Communicate effectively with clients to explain installation processes and address any concerns.
10. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain necessary materials and equipment.
11. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure longevity and optimal performance.

4. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques

6. Excellent leadership and team management skills
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
10. Proficient in using HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
11. Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the HVAC industry
12. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
13. Certification from a recognized HVAC training program is preferred
14. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions

2. Proven experience in leading and managing HVAC projects from inception to completion.
3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices specific to multi-family and commercial properties.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
5. Ability to perform load calculations and equipment sizing for multi-family and commercial buildings.
6. Strong understanding of local and national building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians effectively.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Valid HVAC license and relevant certifications (e.g., EPA 608 certification).
11. Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
13. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
14. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Installer Requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Valid HVAC certification and/or relevant trade license required.
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, specifically in multi-family buildings.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
5. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures.
6. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
7. Familiarity with local and national HVAC codes and safety regulations.
8. Experience with various HVAC systems, including split systems, packaged units, and ductless systems.
9. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
12. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
13. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Ability to work in confined spaces and from heights, including rooftops and elevated platforms. Adequate manual dexterity to handle and manipulate tools and equipment. Tolerance to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Capacity to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Clear vision and hearing to ensure safety and accuracy on job sites.
